The Cobar Shire and Tafe Library provide free Public Library access for all members of the Cobar community. A co-operative arrangement exists with TAFE to provide materials to support TAFE teachers and students in Cobar. How can I join?
You will need to have some identification and proof of your current address.
Just complete a membership form and you will receive a membership card immediately.
If you are under 18 years of age you will need a parent or guardian to sign as your guarantor. When you sign the membership form you are also signing the internet agreement that allows you access to the world wide web. How many items can I borrow?Adult Membership 10 items
Junior Membership 6 Items
Temporary Membership 6 Items
A limit of 4 CDs or DVDs How long can I keep items for?Books can be borrowed for a two week period. For out of town members the borrowing time is 4 weeks.
DVDs can be borrowed for 1 week.
You can renew your books at any time, either by dropping into the library, by phone, email or fax.
