The Local Government Act 1993 permits Council to create committees as it considers necessary.  The Committees make recommendations to Council on a range of issues, and if adopted, become resolutions of the full Council.

There are three main Committees which consist of all Councillors:

► Finance & Policy Committee
► Works Committee
► Community Facilities Committee

The Finance & Policy Committee and Works Committee meet monthly, and the Community Facilities Committee meets quarterly.

Meetings are open to the public and are held on the second Thursday of each month commencing at 5.00pm.  They are held in the Cobar Shire Council Chambers, 36 Linsley Street, Cobar.

Business papers are available on Fridays prior to the meeting.  They can be viewed by accessing the below links or alternatively you can obtain a copy from Council's Administration Office, 36 Linsley Street, Cobar.  Copies of the business papers are also available at the meeting.
