Grants 

There are a number of government and non-government organisations that offer grants for community projects, individual assistance or business projects. A couple of websites worth searching for a grant are:

• www.grantslink.gov.au
• www.communitybuilders.nsw.gov.au
• www.western.cma.nsw.gov.au for natural resource management projects in this area.

Council Donations

Early each year, Council calls for organisations seeking a donation from Council. This is only open for a limited time, around February each year. Advertisements are placed in Cobar's local papers and rules apply, such as organisations must be not-for-profit and can not make donations themselves.
