People wishing to relocate to Cobar from the metropolitan areas of NSW are eligible to receive $7000 from the NSW Government under their Regional Relocation Grant scheme.

The scheme will operate for four years commencing 1 July 2011 and will provide eligible applicants a one-off payment to assist them with the cost of relocating from their metropolitan home to a regional home.
