Applications for Street Stalls and Raffles
Those persons/organisations wishing to hold street stalls and/or raffles in the business area of Cobar during the 2021 calendar year are requested to make an application in writing to Council. The application should state whether you wish to hold a street stall, a raffle, or both, and should include the date, location and a contact person’s name and phone number.
Cobar Shire Council Office Closure - Australia Day
Residents and visitors are advised that the Cobar Shire Council Administration Office, located at 36 Linsley Street, Depot, Family Day Care Office, Cobar Euabalong and Nymagee Libraries will be closed on Tuesday 26 January 2021.
All services will resume normal hours on Wednesday 27 January 2021.
Change of Garbage Collection Days
Council advises all residents that the revised date for garbage collection due to the Australia Day public holiday is as follows:

Donations Policy
In accordance with Council’s policy and the Local Government Act 1993, Cobar Shire Council may make available to local service, cultural, sporting, charities and non-profit organisations which operate within Cobar Shire, or provide a benefit to the residents of Cobar Shire financial assistance.
Cobar Shire Council is calling for applications for such assistance. The applications will close on Thursday 28 January 2021.
Intending applicants should obtain a copy of Council’s policy, guidelines and application form from Council’s Administrative Office at 36 Linsley Street. The policy is also available for viewing on Council’s website http://www.cobar.nsw.gov.au/council/policies-and-codes
