Safe and reliable water planning is essential for Cobar Shire’s long-term sustainability, liveability and future growth. This project supports the development of Council’s Integrated Water Cycle Management planning, which guides how water supply, sewerage and related infrastructure are planned, managed and improved across the local government area.
The project includes technical investigations, options assessment, financial planning and strategic review work to help Council identify future water infrastructure needs and make informed decisions about service delivery.
This project will deliver updated strategic water planning for Cobar Shire, including the finalisation of Council’s Integrated Water Cycle Management Strategy. The work will support evidence-based planning for future water security, infrastructure investment and service improvements across the Shire.
