| Overview | Stage 1 of the Euabalong walking track included the construction of a concrete footpath, a footbridge and park picnic benches. |
| Project Benefit | The walking track enhances the safety for residents in Euabalong, especially where there is limited pedestrian infrastructure. It provides a central space for the community and visitors to gather, socialize, enjoy the scenery, or fish along the Lachlan River. This infrastructure welcomes a safe place to enjoy the Lachlan River and its beautiful landscape. |

| Overview | This project involved sealing an additional 13.8km seal on Wilga Downs Road. This road services both local and regional communities along with businesses associated with agriculture and mining. |
| Project Benefit | Prior to the upgrades, sections of the roadway were impassable during wet weather significantly impacting users reliant on the roadway. This project has improved the roads resilience to tolerate wet weather and road safety. |

| Overview | This project involved the construction of a new multipurpose building to service the playing fields, netball courts and community events such as the annual Cobar Show. | Project Benefit | The new Ward Oval Pavilion provides a high-quality facility for community use. It enhances the capacity to host events such as the annual Cobar Show, dance performances and sporting competitions. |

| Overview | This project involved the construction of a purpose-built 88 place Early Learning Centre for ages 6 months to 5 years. The centre includes two preschool rooms, 2 toddler rooms and 2 infant rooms. Additionally, the centre includes a therapy room, allied health office, amenities, commercial kitchen, storage areas, staffrooms and administrative office spaces. |
| Project Benefit | The construction of the centre addresses a long-standing challenge in our shire being limited access to early childhood education. By creating an additional 57 early learning spaces the project eases pressure on our families, supports early development and enables more parents and caregivers to return to the workforce. |

| Overview | Council repurposed a former Council-owned house into a dedicated community facility for the Cobar Girl Guides. The building underwent significant renovations, including asbestos removal, internal wall modifications to create open space, installation of accessible toilets, a new entrance ramp, and a modern kitchenette. |
| Project Benefit | This project transformed an aging Council asset into a functional, multipurpose facility. With the previous Girl Guides hall reaching the end of its useful life, the group required a new space to continue its activities. The upgraded facility now provides a fit-for-purpose venue where approximately 30 girls gather weekly to engage in leadership and confidence-building programs |

| Overview | This project involved the construction of a Miners Memorial within the Cobar Miners Heritage Park. Designed to resemble an underground mine shaft, the memorial serves as a place of reflection and remembrance for the 180 men who lost their lives working in the mines of Cobar Shire. |
| Project Benefit | The memorial honors the sacrifices made by Cobar and its families for an industry that has generated significant wealth for the region, state, and country. A century ago, Cobar was the largest copper producer in the southern hemisphere. The site now hosts the annual miners’ service, drawing people back for reunions and commemorative gatherings. It offers meaningful insight into Cobar’s rich mining history and cultural heritage |
